Corporate Safety & Health Specialist

As the Corporate Health & Safety Specialist you support, plan and help develop strategies to ensure Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) systems & standards (procedures, policies, and regulatory compliance) oversight across the EMEA region. 

This position reports to the Director EHS and works with facility level EHS positions within the EMEA region to support and drive forward the global EHS mission and strategy.

This is a fulltime role located in Breda/Kruiningen.

What will you do?
•    Develop and promote and execute LW EHS global strategy and direction, in line with company global initiatives;
•    Lead the development and ongoing support of EHS management system and information management system (IMS) function as a subject matter expert and system administrator;
•    Help lead program/process alignment, communication, and standardization across all LW sites, with development of standardized tools, procedures, policies, processes, and coaching;
•    Responsible for execution of Risk Inventarisation & Evaluation for corporate locations in Breda and Kruiningen and coordination of RI&E in other EMEA-locations;
•    Coordinates Emergency Response procedure throughout EMEA.

What do you bring?
•    A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences.
•    At least 5 years of relevant experience and 10+ years in management systems within a manufacturing environment (preferably in the food industry).
•    Comprehensive knowledge of H&S regulations in the EMEA region.
•    Strong leadership and presentation skills to coach teams and successfully implement strategies.
•    Willingness to travel (up to 25% annually).
