Procurement Controller
Key Responsibilities
1. Controlling & Financial Management
• Conduct performance analysis and maintain a transparent performance management framework.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and risk management.
• Deliver timely financial reporting.
2. Governance & Risk Management
• Implement and coordinate risk management frameworks.
• Ensure SOX compliance in procurement processes.
3. Operational Excellence
• Oversee business planning, financial tracking, and variance analysis.
• Align management and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with Category Procurement Managers to enhance efficiency.
4. Budgeting & Forecasting
• Manage forecasting and annual operating plan (AOP) processes.
• Ensure forecast accuracy and align with IBM processes.
5. Financial Performance & Business Partnering
• Conduct variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner with Leadership Team (LT) members on financials.
6. Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships.
• Promote financial awareness and business planning.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a controlling role (preferably in FMCG, Agri, or Agro sectors).
• Strong business acumen with finance/controlling expertise.
• Knowledge of risk management & corporate governance best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Self-starter with a structured, pragmatic, and proactive approach.
• Experience with SAP & Business Objects (preferred).
• Fluent in English (Dutch or other European languages are a plus).
