Breakfast Waffles


Salmon waffles:

  • 2 tsp cream cheese
  • Few slices of smoke salmon
  • Pickled red onion
  • Capers
  • Rocket leaves
  • Dill for garnish

Asparagus and poached eggs

  • 1 poached egg
  • 5 small asparagus cooked
  • Handful of micro herbs or rocket leaves
  • 2-3 tbsp hollandaise dressing
  • Salt & Pepper for taste 

Tomato and Basil:

  • 2 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes
  • Few fresh cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Feta cheese, crumbed
  • Few basil leaves
  • Chopped small cubes of cucumber
  • Sprinkle of chilli powder and black pepper

Mushroom waffles

  • Yellow cheese, grated Low fat slices of ham
  • Sliced mushrooms sautéed on the pan with garlic, thyme and butter
  • Chopped chives, thyme and black pepper for garnish

Waffle Ingredients:

  • 300g Lamb Weston fries bake as per instruction
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2 organic eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp baking powder 


Easy four ways waffles with gourmet savoury toppings for an easy to impress brunch.

  1. Place all the ingredients for waffles except fries in a bowl and whisk until well combined. Allow to sit for 5-10 min to thicken and for the moisture to set. In the mean time bake fries as per instruction.
  2. Heat a non-stick waffle iron until ready to cook. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
  3. Place handful of cooked Lamb Weston fries in the crevices of the iron and cover with waffle batter. Cook until gold and crispy.
  4. Build each waffles as per the ingredients suggestion.
