Ingredients

  • 200g Lamb Weston Stealth Fries
  • 50g Kewpie (Japanese) Mayonnaise
  • 50g Okonomiyaki Sauce
  • 50g Bacon Lardons, fried until crisp
  • Pinch of Aonori Seaweed
  • Pinch of Katsoubushi (Dried Tuna Flakes)

Preparation

Okonomiyaki is a traditional Japanese street food based on a savoury cabbage pancake loaded with mayo and okonomiyaki sauce (similar to a sweet Worcestershire sauce). Here, we’ve swapped out the pancake for an interesting take on loaded fries. Lamb Weston’s classic Stealth Fries are topped with both mayo and okonomiyaki sauces and finished with aonori and katsuobushi, which ‘dance’ when added to the hot fries.

  1. Cook the Lamb Weston Stealth Fries according to the pack, season and put on a plate
  2. Top with the mayonnaise and okonomiyaki sauce
  3. Finish with the bacon, aonori seaweed and katsuobushi flakes
