Classic French flavours with tangy Gruyere cheese and crunchy Seasoned Twisters

Garnish

  • 15ml chopped parsley
  • 25g grated Gruyere cheese

Preparation

Method

  1. Gently fry your sliced onion in the butter until a deep golden colour.
  2. Add the tomato puree and stir well.
  3. Add the beef stock, thyme, rosemary and bay leaves and simmer for 20mins.
  4. Season to taste.
  5. Fry or bake your Lamb Weston Seasoned Twisters until golden (Airfy: 10-18mins at 180 °C / Oven: 20mins at 200°C / Fry: 3:30mins at 175 °C).
  6. Spoon a generous amount of French onion soup into a warm bowl.
  7. Top with Seasoned Twisters, grated Gruyere cheese and serve.
