Simple Fondue Sharing Board with Dippers by Chef Philli

  • 1Tbs butter
  • 1Tbs flour
  • 500ml whole milk
  • 1 glass white wine
  • 200g Cheddar, grated
  • 200g Mozzarella, grated
  • 1tsp chives or parsley, chopped
  • 3 Vegan Hot Dogs from the Sausage Man
  • 5 Vienna Mini Beef Frankfurters from the Sausage Man
  • 400g Lamb Weston Dippers
  • 400g Lamb Weston Connoisseur Rustic Fries
  • 3 German pretzels, baked


  1. Make cheese sauce by melting the butter, then adding the flour, and stirring well to cook out
  2. Stir in the wine, reduce by about half, then slowly add in the milk
  3. Melt both cheeses into the sauce, finish with the herbs and keep warn until ready to serve
  4. Fry the Mini Beef Frankfurters in a pan and cook the Vegan Hot Dogs in water, according to pack instructions
  5. Cook the Dippers and Connoisseur Rustic Fries according to pack instructions
  6. Load up a large sharing board with all the components and serve, remembering to keep the Vienna Mini Beef Frankfurters separate if you are feeding vegetarians!
