Agriculture Controller
As the Agriculture Controller you will work on the financials of our most important ingredient for all of our tasty fries. With continuous changing markets you will support in guiding the Agricultural department to get the best results and manage risks for the company. You will team up with the specialists in the Agricultural area to monitor, create insights & analyze to see where we can improve. The Agricultural controller will be part of a small Sourcing control team where we want to optimize our way of working every day. Big portion of the role will include the period close & reporting with a big focus on compliancy.
In this position you report to the Sourcing Controller. This fulltime position is based in Breda and Kruiningen.
What do you do?
Perform controlling activities in the Agricultural/Potato area
- Ensure an independent and overarching view of company quantitative and qualitative performance through adequate analyses, recommendations and monitoring of the execution of the strategy
- Support on creating coherence throughout the organization with clear performance management guidelines risk management and internal control framework and deployment
- Ensure adequate financial forecasting in alignment with IBM process
- Ensures adequate management reporting
- Support on adequate corporate risk management
- Act as supporting force to deliver the operational and strategic goals as defined in the Annual Plans and financial company strategic objectives.
What do you bring
- Bachelor or Master level in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration or equivalent
- At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a controlling role in an international environment, preferably FMCG / Agri / Agro companies
- Good knowledge of best practices and finance/ controlling excellence
- Sound understanding of Risk management and Corporate Governance practices
- Financial understanding, strong numeric insight & analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers, peers and effectively managing those relationships
- A professional, planned and organized way of working, along with an objective and pragmatic approach.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work productively within a dynamic working environment.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
- Fluent in English & Dutch both spoken and written
