As Trade Marketeer, you are responsible for developing our brands within the retail channel at a local market level. You

will bring strategies to life through product launches, public relations, and impactful in-store communication.

What You Will Do

  • Translate the overall marketing strategy into successful execution across local European retail markets.
  • Partner with Sales to elevate category vision, strengthen trade communication, and unlock new growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement Trade Marketing Plans across multiple countries, aligned with retail sales and marketing objectives.
  • Strengthen the position and expertise of Trade Marketing within the Lamb Weston Retail organization.
  • Act as the key link between retailer insights and marketing strategy, converting them into integrated commercial annual plans.
  • Turn category vision into persuasive selling stories, customer-specific assortment plans, and in-store activations that resonate with shoppers and retailers.
  • Position Lamb Weston brands as category growth accelerators and expand branded market share.
  • Improve brand visibility and campaign execution through best-in-class in-store planning, execution, and performance tracking.
  • Conceptualize and deliver trade promotions and impactful in-store campaigns in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
  • Lead in-store activation plans for product launches, ensuring on-brand execution delivered on time and grounded in shopper insights.
  • Develop and optimize promotional strategies to improve efficiency and maximize market share gains.
  • Analyze market data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, IGD) to generate actionable insights on assortment, pricing, promotions, distribution, and visibility.
  • Initiate data-driven discussions with retailers to improve displays, correct execution, and recover lost sales opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity through research and store visits, recommending innovations, materials, and POS solutions.
  • Champion initiatives that increase promotional effectiveness and measurable return on investment.

What You Bring to the Table

You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful. You are a proactive doer and problem-solver who enjoys making an impact, listens well, and collaborates naturally across teams.

  • University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience in Trade Marketing (FMCG preferred).
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10–20%).
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working with panel data (Nielsen or IRI required).
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and confidence working with numerical data.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Comfortable operating in matrix organizations and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines with urgency.
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset with a clear growth orientation.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluent in English.
